Suan Sawan

Situated about 200kms from Bangkok, in the Hills of Khao Yai with a breath-taking view is this beautiful farm - Sawan Gardens, in Pak Chong District.

A place which is not only unusual, but is serene, is scenically breath-taking, a place that one would want to spend all of one`s time. A place that has the best atmosphere, a place where one can be in touch with nature and most of all where one can be connected to one`s roots. Yes connected to one`s roots – being a Thai, to own a beautiful Thai Style House.

33 rai of land with a million dollar view of the entire Khao Yai Hills and Pak Chong District is the place where the Suan Sawan is situated. It has been fully developed with all amenities such as water, electricity, roads, workers houses, beautiful landscape and a well developing fruit orchard, with fruits such as mangoes, lime, star fruit etc. The entire area has been very well planned out with the main house on one side and orchard spread in front, with nothing to block the almost 300 degree view. The plot is fully fenced with beautiful bougainvillea bushes bordering one side and tall majestic Ashoka trees bordering the other. There is a paved road and side water drainage encircling the entire plot, making it easy to walk around and inspecting any part of the orchard.

More than 100 full grown trees have been planted in the entire plot, thus one does not need to wait to enjoy its beauty. The lawn in front of the house covers almost 2 rai well designed landscape with many wooden barks and artifacts that enhances the beauty even more. Not only is the lawn fully grassed, even the entire orchard has been carpeted with beautiful grass that becomes very lush and green during the rainy seasons, making the entire place most pleasing to the eye, mind and soul.

The house itself has been personally designed with no such help from architects and is an adaption of a typical Thai community house, with many rooftops to be seen from a distant. Its grandeur is unspeakable and rarely seen in today`s world. Each of the rooms are well designed, furnished, decorated and extremely spacious thus it deviates from the normal houses as they usually have a fixed dimension.

The house is built on a high mound, using both blends of concrete and wood in the right places to give it both strength, practicality and as well as highlighting its beauty even further. Its divided into 2 portions with a main house being on top, covering almost 250 sq. meters and lower house covering almost 72 s is on the side connected by wooden staircase. There is a large almost 200 front terrace with 2 very majestic Hoo Kachong trees in the center, with wide spread branches giving both shade and beauty to the place. There is a roofed wooden walkway all around the house making it look more spacious and easily accessible.

Highest quality construction materials have been used in its constructions and all the walls have been made in bricks that I have personally designed, where they have been neatly stacked on top of each other, without any cement being visible. It was the most time consuming part of the work, as it needed a very skilled and patient worker to construct it. Rest of the house has been made using Red and Teak Wood, with most of the rooms having almost 6 meter red wood plank flooring. There are 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, drawing, dinning, 2 kitchens, washing area and a separate TV room, maid`s rooms, storeroom and a large Thai style car park area.

All the bedrooms and TV rooms have high false ceiling, proper natural lighting and ventilation due to the door size bevel glassed windows, giving an un-obstructive clear view. Where as the dinning and drawing room have high 6 meter wooden ceiling, a typical feature of a Thai house. All rooms are air-conditioned except for the drawing and dinning rooms. The inner kitchen is well equipped with in-built micro-wave, oven, gas stove, a family size refrigerator and chiller, where as the outer kitchen is mainly used for cooking purposes with proper marbled counters and racks for keeping pots and pans. There is a fax and wireless Internet connection as well

All the furniture has been personally designed in the Thai style, made from teak wood and by Agal Furniture Company, thus giving symmetry as well as grandness to all the rooms. The artifacts, the paintings etc. have been collected from all around the world, for years together and are well displayed giving a very classy and tasteful look the place. The lights too give an immense impression to the house as the have been self designed in cut glass and imported from abroad. Be it the Moroccan Chandeliers, Cut glass Chandeliers, the table lamps, the wall lamps or the terrace post lamps, all add to the classiness of the house. All the bathrooms are big and well designed in a more modern look, but still keeping part of the antiquity by decorating it with the right artifacts, makes them blend well with the house.

Its difficult to explain its beauty in writing, one has to really see it to experience it, to be mesmerized by it, to be en-captivated by it.

Please note that the plot has a transferable land deed and my selling price is 120 Million Thai Baht only.
